Waste Management Fee Increase beginning April 1, 2022

Starting April 1, 2022, Waste Management will be increasing their monthly fees for residential waste.
The price per month will be increasing from $19.35 to $20.03 per month for once per week trash and every other week recycling. Quarterly bills from Waste Management starting April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023 will be $60.06 for trash and recycling services. Senior citizens (65 years and older) can receive a discount of 10% per month.
Every other week yard waste service is optional and will be increasing from $6.00 to $6.21 per month. Optional weekly yard waste service will be increasing from $12.00 to $12.42 per month.
Your new bill that will be issued in March from Waste Management will reflect these new prices.
Additional services: An additional trash container is available for $2.00 per month and an additional recycling container is available for $2.00 per month. Appliance recycling is $25 per item and should be scheduled in advance. Residents are entitled to 1 bulky item per month at no charge. Additional household bulky items can be disposed of for $10 each. Residents will also be allowed to place bulky items out for collection at one of four annual scheduled bulky item events. Residents can request a smaller trash container (64 gallon) at no charge. All residents will be required to have a waste management trash container; occasional overflow of loose bags outside the cart is acceptable, and more than one trash receptacle is always allowed.
