The City of Mascoutah has a number of Boards and Commissions that provide valuable advisory recommendations to the City Council to assist in making sound decisions in the best interest of our community. We encourage citizens to be a part of our decision-making by volunteering to participate on these various boards and commissions. Members are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. Members are not compensated for this service.
The length of a term on these various boards and commissions range from 3 to 5 years and may require residency in the City limits.
