The Mascoutah Police Department Announces St. Patrick's Day DUI Enforcement Results

The Mascoutah Police Department announced that it issued seven written warnings and the following citations during the St. Patrick's Day enforcement period:
- 1- No Valid Driver's License
- 1- Improper Use of Electronic Communication Device
- 1- Operating Uninsured Vehicle
- 1- Operating Vehicle with Expired Registration
- 1- Speeding
"We strongly enforce traffic laws for one reason- to save lives," said Lt. Matt Steinkamp.
The Mascoutah Police Department joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick's Day enforcement campaign.
The St. Patrick's Day enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
