New "Welcome to Mascoutah" Signs

The City of Mascoutah has been in the process for the last several months planning and designing replacement “Welcome to Historic Mascoutah” signs at the entrances to the City. A subcommittee of members from the City, Mascoutah Chamber of Commerce and Tuesday Woman’s Club selected the design and locations of the new signs. The look of the new signs will be very similar to the original signs, but will be a little larger, be lighted and have updated masonry work. The new signs are currently being built and the City hopes to have installation started soon, weather permitting.
