The Mascoutah EMS and Police Departments have teamed up with St. Clair County to have residents with special needs register with the county. This registry will only be used by emergency personnel in a disaster or emergency event. The purpose is to have this information available for dispatchers and emergency personnel to assist in locating, treating, or evacuating special needs residents in the event of a disaster or emergency situation.
The Mascoutah EMS and Police Departments are asking that residents of the City of Mascoutah and surrounding area, serviced by EMS, to take a few moments and register with St. Clair County for this valuable and possibly life saving tool.
