The Mascoutah Police Department Announces St. Patrick's Day Enforcement Results

The Mascoutah Police Department announced it issued the following citations during the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement period:
- 4 – Operating Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration
- 1 – Operating Uninsured Vehicle
14 written warnings were also issued for various traffic violations.
“We strongly enforce traffic laws for one reason – to save lives,” said Lt. Matt Steinkamp
The Mascoutah Police Department joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign.
The safety effort was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
