Employment Opportunity- School Crossing Guard

The Mascoutah Police Department is looking for a dependable person to fill a School Crossing Guard position.  Your job will be to provide crossing guard services at an assigned location, assist school children and the general public in crossing busy streets and intersections during before and after school hours, ensure pedestrians cross the street only when safe, and stop vehicles by using mechanical signals and hand held stop signs.  This position will require approximately two and one half hours per day, Monday through Friday while school is in session, and you must be comfortable working outdoors in various types of weather.  Starting salary is $14.50 per hour.  For further information, please contact 618-566-2976 or email jhawkins@mascoutah.com.  Please submit applications with references via email to jhawkins@mascoutah.com or mail to: Mascoutah Police Department, 3 West Main Street, Mascoutah, IL 62258 as soon as possible.  EOE.
