Mascoutah Spring Clean Up Week

Event Date: Monday, May 4, 2020 (All day) to Friday, May 8, 2020 (All day)
When the weather warms up, it's time to shake the dust off and get down to serious spring cleaning. The City knows you take pride in your home and neighborhood. Once again, the City is helping by providing a Spring Clean-Up during the week of May 4th through May 8th. Waste Management will pick up large items during this week on your regularly scheduled trash pick up day.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS
- Carpet in 4ft. sections and bundled
- Wood in 4 ft. sections and bundled
- Remodeling material is acceptable only during clean-up (no major construction/contractors)
- Bulk items such as couches, beds, and other furniture
- Dried paint cans
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS
- No oil, chemicals (acid, parts, cleaners, etc.) or free flowing liquids
- No tires, batteries, car parts
- No refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves
- No roofing (shingles)
- No yard waste
- No TV’s and no electronics
