City of Mascoutah, IL (Pop. 8754) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of City Engineer. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer license, and five years of progressively responsible/technical work experience required. Duties include administrative and professional engineering work directed toward planning, designing, and directing City construction projects and overseeing project contracts. Knowledge of municipal utilities a plus (streets, water, drainage, sewer, electric). Applicants must possess strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
